The Miracle of Hearing

“Rachel” walked into Center of Hope to request assistance. As she was talking with a volunteer, Rachel made it known that she could not hear well.  Another volunteer was made aware of the concern and began to contact local resources with hopes of securing hearing aids. After researching and being informed the specific hearing aids needed are not covered by Medicare, Center of Hope was able to help with the gift of hearing aids and deliver to Rachel within a week, all because of the generosity of our donors.

“It’s one of the best things that has happened to me. I was able to hear my preacher for the first time in almost a year. My daughter would write notes for me in church so I would know what was being said. The only thing I had been praying for was hearing aids. God works.”
