The Hope Chest
In June 2014, Parker County Center of Hope unveiled The Hope Chest Resale Store, offering the community a valuable venue for donating items and discovering hidden treasures. All proceeds from the store directly benefit the Center of Hope, supporting programs designed to aid struggling families living in poverty.
However, the impact of The Hope Chest extends beyond its retail operations. It also serves as a six-month job training initiative. Eligible participants are provided with the opportunity to engage in personalized one-on-one sessions with the store manager, focusing on enhancing essential work readiness skills. This program ensures that participants remain connected to their life coach and continue attending classes at the Center.

Donation Guidelines:
Items we accept:
- Clean and gently used clothing (Women, Men, Maternity, Evening, and Business Attire)
- Clean and gently used shoes
- Costume and fine jewelry
- Handbags and accessories
- Used furniture (no tears or stains)
- Light furnishing and decorations
- Housewares and kitchenwares
- Working countertop appliances
- Books
- Collectibles and memorabilia
- Individual sport equipment
Items we cannot accept:
- Car seats
- Encyclopedias
- Oversized children’s toys
- Cribs
- Large appliances
- Organs and pianos
- Computers, computer hardware, and printers
- TVs, entertainment centers
- Sofa beds, mattresses
