Your financial donations make a difference for families in our community. Misti Johnson, Springtown Coordinator, shared about a phone call she received.
A father called to say, “I want you to know that Center of Hope has saved my family.”
Center of Hope has worked with this family for several weeks after they were referred from a Springtown school counselor. We paid for the son to receive professional counseling which led to the parents also going for counseling. These services have made a profound impact in their lives, and they are working toward reconciliation.
We help families in many ways. In Springtown, most of the families who come for groceries have five or more people in the household.
Although we have seen an increase in financial need for counseling and prescriptions, our most frequent request is for utility bills, including propane. Since opening last April, we have had over 1,000 visits to Center of Hope in Springtown. Your giving impacts families month after month. Thank you for how generously you are loving your neighbors all over Parker County!
