New Beginnings through Jobs for Life

Lisa was one of four graduates from our Jobs for Life program in September. Through the class, she gained a new beginning, friends to call family and renewed confidence. Lisa had heard of the life coaching offered at Center of Hope from her mom, and after completing some time in jail, she connected with Erin, the Center’s Career Development Coordinator. Through the mentorship of her life coach, the encouragement and Biblical teaching from her teachers and the practical instruction in areas like mock interviews and resume building, Lisa has restored confidence in re-entering the workforce. Her faith and relationship with God continue to grow as she perseveres, trusts and rests in the Lord’s peace, and she is celebrating His faithfulness in the provision of a new job this month!
