A New Season for New Stories of Transformation!
With Center of Hope operations and services having officially opened on February 3rd at our new building, staff and volunteers are now unified together in one location to reach new and past participants from the community. Within 3 weeks of opening, among Basic Assistance services, 118 people met with advisors, 235 received a month’s supply of groceries and 70 volunteers served 1,094 hot meals in our new kitchen. 78 people also met with a life coach. Within our Education and Career Development classes, 3 students enrolled in our computer classes, 10 people participated in our S.T.E.P.S. class, 28 students enrolled in our Basic and Advanced English classes and 5 students are growing in reading in our literacy classes. Gardening 101, one of our newest Family Empowerment classes, had a wonderful turnout of 15 participants. 10 children were also loved and cared for as their parents participated in classes. And the list continues! None of this would be possible without your support and all those who helped move boxes, prepared countless meals, who give of their time to teach and everyone who has given financially to get us to this point! Thank you for your support in this new season! We can’t wait to see how God moves as we continue to work together.
