Camp Hope Memories

During June and July, Center of Hope shared the love of Christ with the children and youth of our community through our Camp Hope program. Partnering with local churches to provide food, fun, and fellowship for kids within their own neighborhoods, campers participated in a variety of activities, while Bible stories were brought to life by the volunteers. This year’s theme was “Camp Courage – Be Brave For God!”

TRIPP’S STORY

Tripp, 16 years old, has been attending Camp Hope since he was in elementary school. Some of his fondest memories include singing songs, watching his siblings make the crafts, and seeing how engaged the campers were during the Bible lessons. When asked what Camp Hope meant to him, Tripp replied, “It says HOPE in the name. You go there to hear about the hope in Jesus and hope to take something away from His message.”
