The Little Library with a Big Heart & Camp Hope Update!

This year’s theme for Camp Hope was “Our faith can move mountains” (Matthew 17:20). One part of the curriculum involved working together on a craft project. The campers created something truly meaningful – a neighborhood library. The wooden bookcase is covered with the painted handprints of the campers, and community members will keep it stocked with a variety of books for the children to access at any time.

This summer, Camp Hope welcomed children across Parker County during June and July. In partnership with eight local churches, Center of Hope hosted 543 campers who experienced laughter, learning, and love in action.

The heart of Camp Hope shone through the dedication of 85 volunteers, who poured out their time and care to make each camp day special. At our Oak Hill location, Cross Timbers Baptist invited Primera Iglesia Bautista to help connect with the Hispanic community, ensuring that every child felt welcomed and included.

This summer, Camp Hope was more than just a camp—it was a community of churches, volunteers, and families coming together to plant seeds of hope in the next generation.
